Unai Bilbao led the 1-0 match between Atlético San Luis against America for the Liga MX | VIDEO

Unai Bilbao scored first after a header for Atlético San Luis against America on Matchday 4 of the Liga MX. Note that in the middle of the week, the owner of América, Emilio Azcárraga, visited the team to motivate them for the match against Atlético de San Luis. Looks like it didn’t help much.
Unai Bilbao, Abel Hernández and Germán Berterame contributed to the goals with which San Luis surprised on Saturday, winning 3-2 away to an American team that remains without a win in the Clausura tournament in Mexico.
Spaniard Bilbao headed in to open the scoring in the 6th minute, Uruguayan Hernández extended the lead in the 53rd and Argentine Berterame thrashed in the 61st.
America came within just one goal in stoppage time, but could no longer salvage the tie.
“Obviously we weren’t doing well, San Luis got the result because they worked hard and they deserved it,” coach Santiago Solari said. “We need to be self-critical and start working together without making excuses. The beginning was not easy”.
The Argentine coach, who previously managed Real Madrid and is in his third tournament in Mexico, recalled that the team has been hit by injuries, positives for coronavirus and games due to date FIFA which did not allow him to train with a full squad.
