The Deep Blue Ones also struggled to perform at the start of this season, losing each of their three league games to Valencia, Sevilla and Barcelona, scoring just once in the process.

Getafe’s recent record against Elche is solid, remaining unbeaten in their last four encounters, recording two wins in the process, but both sides drew 1-1 in the corresponding game last season.

Fran EscribaThe Athletic side opened their campaign with a goalless draw against Athletic on August 16 before losing 1-0 to Atletico at Wanda Metropolitano on August 22.
Elche then held Sevilla to a 1-1 draw before the international break, with Enzo RocoThe effort of the first half was enough to secure a share of the booty against Julen Lopeteguiaside during a strong performance.
The Green Striped were 17th on their return to the top flight last season, and they were just two points above the relegation zone, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see another tough campaign for the club.
