Jose Polo, The Sommelier Of The Atrio De Caceres Restaurant, Will Receive The Guerridon De Oro De San Sebastian.
Jose Polo, Sommelier of the Atrio restaurant in Caceres, will receive the Guerridon d’Oro during the San Sebastian Gastronomica-Euscadia Basque Country 2022 Congress, which will be held from October 2 to 5 at the Kursal Palace, the capital of Gipuzkoa. In a press release, the organizers of the San Sebastian Gastronomica-Euscady Basque Country indicated that Jose Polo would receive the Guerridon de Oro, an award that distinguishes the best service in the dining room.
Polo, who runs the atrio with chef Tono Pérez, is in charge of the Xtremaduran restaurant’s cellar, considered “one of the most luxurious in the world, containing more than 40,000 bottles and some 2,700 different references”.
